DOWEX™ HCR-S/S Katyonik Reçine üstün kinetik özelliği ve fiziksel, kimyasal ve termal kararlılığı ile yüksek kapasiteli bir reçinedir.

DOWEX HCR-S/S evsel yumuşatma uygulamalarında kullanılabilir.

Reçine, katı ya da yarı akışkan, billurlaştırılması güç, suda çözünmeyen, organik çözücülerde çözünen,

ısıtılınca yumuşayan ve ergiyen maddedir.

Katyonik reçineler; içme suyu, kullanma suyu ve atıksu içinde bulunan kalsiyum (Ca) ve magnezyum (Mg) iyonlarının sodyum (Na) iyonları ile yer değiştirmesi prensibine göreçalışmaktadır.

Su yumuşatma sistemlerinde ham tuz veya tablet tuz kullanılarak rejenere (tazeleme) edilmektedir.

Demineralizayon sistemlerinde kullanılan katyonik reçineler yüksek kuvvetli asitler ile rejenere edilmektedir.

Demineralizasyon sistemlerinde katyonik iyonlar (H+) iyonları ile yer değiştirmektedir.Katyonik reçine değişim

sıklığı, arıtım prosesine gelen suyun karakteristliğine bağlı olmakla birlikte ortalama 1-2 yıldır.

İyon değiştiricilerin başlıca kullanım alanları;

• Endüstride sulardaki Ca2+, Mg2+ , Fe2+ ve Mn2+ iyonlarının uzaklaştırılması (suyun yumuşatılması),

• Şekerin saflaştırılması,

• Minerallerden altın, gümüş ve uranyum gibi değerli elementlerin ayrılması,

• Esterleşme ve hidroliz reaksiyonlarında katalizör olarak kullanılmasıdır.

Suyu yumuşatmak veya deiyonize etmek veya başka bazı mineralleri almak için kullanılan,

genelde sarı renkli kuma benzeyen sentetik bir malzemedir.

Kullanıldığı suyun karakteristiklerine göre 3 ile 9 yıl arasında değişmesi gerekir.

İyi bir reçine eşit tanecikli olmalı ve özel ambalajlarda muhafaza edilmelidir.

Tane boyutu birbirinden farklı olan reçineler hem basınç kaybını artırır hem cihaz içinde

oluklar oluşturarak kapasitenin önemli ölçüde(-%80) azalmasına sebep verirler.

Kapasite düşmesi sebebi ile rejenerasyon esnasında harcanan rejenerant kimyasalının (tuz, asit, vb.) birim maliyeti artar.
